The object <USERID> has been corrupted, and it's in an inconsistent state. The following validation errors happened:

I get this error after running this powershell command: Get-MailboxStatistics -database "Database name"

I have moved about 180 people from a physical Exchange 2007 machine to a virtual Exchange 2013 machine.

Out of 180 people only 11 people had this error yesterday.  And they were all on 1 of the 2 databases we have.

Now more users on both databases have this error.  What happened?

I ran this:

Get-MailboxRepairRequest -Mailbox "user" | FL

It looks like all tests finished successfully.

Source              : OnDemand
Priority            : Normal
DetectOnly          : False
JobState            : Succeeded
Progress            : 100
Tasks               : {FolderView}

But after running this it looks like it still has issues.

Get-MailboxStatistics -Identity <USERNAME>

Hello

move mailbox to another DB

I have done that with 1 mailbox and it seems to be corrected... for now.

It looks like 49 new mailboxes cropped up with this issue between yesterday and today.

Perhaps we'll see if that 1 I moved stays healthy.

I find a similar discussion that has been suggested some good ideas to resolve this weird issue. Please check below mentioned reference if it helps you to sort out the problem : https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/exchange/en-US/331e2ea4-6855-4b9f-9dbe-e5b72e976d6f/corrupted-object

Moreover, for future prospective, while need to move users mailboxes from old server to new one, you can have a look on this comprehensive application(http://www.exchangemigrationtool.com/) that helps to get this job done in more easier way without having any problem.

Hi,

The error message you posted here indicates that the mailbox has been corrupted during the migeration.

To resolve this issue, we can move the mailbox to another database or repaire the mailbox to have a try.

Moving them seemed to correct this issue.  But I had to do it with over 64 mailboxes.  I was mainly looking for a better solution due to the time involved.

Hi,

We can create a .csv file having the Alias or Displayname in the format for these currupted mailboxes and save it as batch1.csv. Then we can move the mailboxes in bulk. For more information about this, please refer to:
